OUR HISTORY
Spook Hill Elementary School is located in the beautiful town of Lake Wales, established on the highest point on Central Florida's geographical ridge. The name was chosen because it is located next to the attraction Spook Hill. Spook Hill Elementary opened in 1956. Casper, the friendly ghost, was adopted as the school's mascot by the students. The students decided Spook Hill would be the perfect home for Casper, being that the school is located right next to Spook Hill.
